Triethylene Glycol Ester of Rosin is a liquid tackifying resin made by esterification of gum rosin and triethylene glycol. Due to its low VOC, low viscosity, and easy flow-ability, it can be used as a tackifier and plasticizer in various adhesive formulations.
Properties:
1. Increase flow property of adhesive with specific adhesion at low temperature.
2. Soluble in solvents such as aromatic, aliphatic, ester, ketone, butanol, pentanol, etc.
3. Good compatibility with EVA and various polymers such as natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, SBR, SBS, SIS, etc.
Specification:
Appearance | Color (Gardner neat) | Acid Value (mg KOH/g) | Viscosity(mPa·s) |
Pale Yellow Transparent Sticky Liquid | ≤8 | ≤15 | 50~100 (100℃) |
Typical Uses:
Water-base acrylic polymer emulsion, flooring and construction adhesives,Hot melt adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive, book binding, packaging, tape, labels, pressure-sensitive adhesive based on SIS or SBS.
Packaging:
Packing: Iron drum galvanized or with polyvinyl fluoride lining, Net each 25, 50, 200Kgs.
